Leadership Institute Annual Conference - February 28-29, 2020 at Texas State University. Interesados favor de contactarme directamente antes del 7 de febrero, 2020.

The Leadership Institute in the Dean of Students Office is hosting the Leadership Institute Annual Conference on February 28-29, 2020 at Texas State University. The purpose of the conference is to bring together students from diverse backgrounds to learn leadership skills, engage students in values-based activities that foster ethical leadership development, and inspire students to adopt a new way of life by expanding their leadership potential. The conference is a fast-paced, interactive experience; this year’s theme is Exploring Truth and Leadership. For more information on our speakers and sessions, including a detailed schedule, please visit our website at https://leadership.dos.txstate.edu/conference.html.

As Advisor of Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society, we invite you to register 2-4 delegates to attend the conference on behalf of your organization. It is important to note that we are seeking delegates who are excited to attend and are committed to attending both days (Friday, 5:15 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.).

We are excited to offer the conference at no cost, which will cover registration, a reception on Friday evening with hors d'oeuvres, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, a conference t-shirt, and program materials. Please register using the link for the online registration form - https://leadership.dos.txstate.edu/conference/register.html - by Friday, February 7, 2020. Also make sure that you specify the organization that you are representing in the appropriate field on the registration application.

The Leadership Institute is also awarding three $1,000 scholarships at the conference (funds will be dispersed in Fall 2020, meaning you must be enrolled or planning to be enrolled for Fall 2020).
